Manage Shopify and WooCommerce Orders from Your POS Dashboard

Why your online orders needed their own home

If you sell through Shopify or WooCommerce alongside a physical till, you already know the problem: orders live in one system, stock and sales live in another, and someone has to bridge the two by hand. A customer places an order online, and unless you're actively checking your store admin, you might not notice for hours. Meanwhile your POS has no idea the order happened at all.

The new Online Orders page closes that gap. Once your Shopify or WooCommerce store is connected to WebpinnPOS, every order placed on that store shows up inside your POS dashboard automatically: no exporting, no manual entry, no separate tab to babysit.

What you see on the Online Orders page

Each order lists the order number, its source (Shopify or WooCommerce), the date it was placed, the customer's name, email, and phone number, the line items ordered, payment status, fulfillment status, and the order total. Summary stat cards at the top of the page show your total order count, how many orders are still awaiting fulfillment, and total revenue across the loaded orders: so you can see the state of your online sales at a glance without opening every order.

How orders get here: webhook sync plus a safety net

Orders sync via webhook, which means the moment a customer completes checkout on your store, the order is pushed to WebpinnPOS near-instantly. Webhooks can occasionally get missed, a brief connection hiccup, a platform-side delay, so WebpinnPOS also runs a background pull every 15 minutes to catch anything that slipped through. And if you want the latest orders right now, a manual Sync Now button pulls them on demand.

Live notifications: never miss a new order

The Online Orders item in your sidebar shows a live unread-count badge the instant a new order arrives: no page refresh required. If you already have the Online Orders page open, it auto-refreshes to show the new order as soon as it lands. You don't need to be staring at the screen to catch it.

Exporting orders for accounting and reporting

Every business eventually needs order data outside the dashboard: for a bookkeeper, an accountant, or a monthly reconciliation. The Online Orders page gives you two export paths.

Both exports include order number, source, dates, statuses, customer contact details, totals, and item counts. Everything you need to reconcile online sales against your accounting records.

Online orders stay separate from in-store sales

It's worth being clear about one thing: online orders are tracked as a distinct transaction type from your in-store Sales history. They don't merge into your POS sales reports. This matters if you're comparing channel performance. You can see exactly how much revenue came from your online store versus your physical till, rather than a blended figure that hides the difference.

Who can see this page

Access to the Online Orders page is permission-gated by the shop admin, so you decide which staff members can view it. And it only appears at all once you've actually connected a Shopify or WooCommerce store: if you're running WebpinnPOS purely in-store today, nothing changes for you.
